Device does not power on when power button is held down

Plug the charger into the power adapter and try to boot the computer. If the computer still does not turn on, check to see if the charging light is illuminated on the computer. If the light is not on, it is likely that the power adapter is defective. For the battery to charge, the adapter may need to be replaced.

Hardware inside of the laptop may have failed, causing the laptop to be unable to boot. This generally would be caused by insufficient RAM, which may need to be replaced. Since the RAM is integrated into the motherboard, the RAM needs to be replaced by a computer professional or the motherboard can be replaced using this guide.

User input is not reflected on the screen

If the device screen becomes frozen or otherwise unresponsive, try resetting the computer by holding down the power button until the computer shuts off and then turning the computer back on by holding down the power button.

The display may be on the incorrect setting. To switch the display mode, hold down 'Fn' and press 'E' simultaneously. This will switch the display setting back to a normal display setting on the laptop. If this does not fix the issue, hold down the Windows key and press the 'P' key twice. The laptop may have been accidentally set to projector mode, and this will switch it back to computer mode.

The battery of the device will not charge while the device is plugged in

If the connection from the power adapter to the laptop is wobbly or otherwise not secure, the connector may be damaged which will prevent the laptop from charging. Repair to the connector may be necessary.

If the laptop does not turn on, ensure that the laptop is plugged in. If the laptop only turns on when plugged in and turns off immediately upon the charger being disconnected regardless of charging time, the battery is likely defective and may need to be replaced. While the headphones are plugged into the audio jack, audio is distorted or muffled

Through repeated use, the audio jack may have become loose. Ensure that the headphones are plugged all the way in. If the audio continues to be distorted, the jack itself may be damaged and need to be replaced.

The audio driver on the laptop may be outdated and may need to be updated. Download the most recent audio driver from the manufacturer's support website.

The device makes exceedingly loud noise while powered on

The fan may be loud because the device is overheating due to dust clogging the fans. Use compressed air on the vents and fans in order to clear out dust that may be affecting fan performance.
