Your computer overheats and the performance of your laptop either slows down or shuts down completely.
Overheating can be caused if there is too much dust or other objects stuck in your laptop’s fan. You can use a compressed air duster but may need to take apart your laptop to clean it by hand or replace the fan completely if it doesn’t spin at all or makes concerning noises.
Blocked Air Vents
Laptops may accumulate dust if there isn’t proper airflow. You can check your work area for anything that may be obstructing the air vents. Air vents can also collect dust over time. You can either use a compressed air duster or, if conditions are very severe, take apart your laptop and clean it by hand to remove whatever is hindering air flow.
