Do you have a backup of your data? If yes I agree with mayer; perform a clean OS installation. If no this is obviously cause for alarm. I would suggest running Allsoft Disk Warrior (bootable, surprisingly effective) and then Tech Tool Pro (also bootable, run a drive surface scan). If Disk Warrior reports errors in the file system but Tech Tool reports no bad blocks allow Disk Warrior to repair the drive as it sees fit. Then backup. A lot...like every minute. Though Tech Tool didn't find any bad blocks it doesn't mean there is not something wrong with the drive or the controller. You'll want to have a good backup plan while the drive in question proves (or disproves) reliability. If Tech Tool reports ANY bad blocks I would suggest replacing the drive. Though Tech Tool can map around the bad blocks experience tells me bad blocks are like cancer; you can make it seem better for a while but it tends to spread. Pretty sure you'r system is operating within normal temperatures. What application are implicated in the crash report? Aside from freezing in WOW do you have any other symptoms at all?

Please be extremely careful when opening eMac.: NEVER touch anything above the Digital Assembly without one hand safely behind your back (thought the ONLY thing you should be touching in the Analogue Assembly is the power connector on the right side of the unit). I'll gladly assist in the eMac's burial (I've had about enough cuts repairing these things!) but I don't have a hole big enough for you too! eMac power buttons seems to have a habit of deformation as they age; poor repair technique can also contribute to early death. If you haven't done so already remove the back housing. Note: when removing the rear housing, slowly lift the rear housing. Reaching from the Digital Assembly side up to the power button, remove the low voltage power cable from the power button. Remove the rear housing. Inspect the power button for deformations of the metal support and any foreign objects that could be interfering with operation. Before going to the trouble and cost of replacing parts:: 1. Verify that you have all updates installed, particularly Battery Update 1.4 (KB# HT3421) 2. Reset the SMC (KB# HT3964) 3. Reset your PRAM (KB# HT1379) SMC Reset in a Nutshell: 1. Remove the battery and AC power 2. Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds 3. Reinstall battery and power Given this model's track record its probably the battery but SMU's do go on the fritz every now and again (plus resetting the SMU doesn't cost any green). All MacBook batteries are the same so don't worry about getting your model number (ie. if you really wanted you could put a black battery in a white MacBook, dalmatian style). Also Note: Selected battery issues are covered by a Repair Extension Program for which no model is eligible after 3 years from the date of purchase. Eligibility must be determined by an Apple Authorized Technician and repairs fulfilled at option by Apple.
