Hi there. If you have the MagSafe plugged in you can short the 5-6 pin on the keyboard connector. This will manually power on just about any mac laptop. Best regards, CleverTech

Hi there Thomas. You can attempt to reconnect the LVDS cable connection located on the board. There is a backlit flex cable that connects to the LED display board mid left of the "MacBook Air" text on the screen bezel. You can apply some pressure there to see if maybe it's loose but it's highly unlikely (unfortunately). Most cases for us it's the backlit LED driver chip on the motherboard. Gonzalo -CleverTech

Hey there Nik. Sounds like a bad ram slot. It's made out of many pins, you can look into the slot and make sure the pins are aligned correctly and not bent. I've fixed a few just by bending the pins back. There is also an IC chip on the motherboard that may not be working properly. We've repaired issues like this as well. Gonzalo -CleverTech

Hey there HardstyleZilink, Just had the same issue. Ended up being that the pins on the dock connector were bent. Bent them back and iPod started to charge fine. I also found out it was under warranty, so to avoid it possibly happening again I sent it back to apple and received an exchange.
