Hi William, I agree with JJ PT however if this is a new phone and/or no shsh blobs have ever been saved then you will be unable to update to any version apart from the latest as the cydia server will not be able to verify the request. At this current time there is no way to get around this so you will have to suffice with IOS 6.0.1 To check if your phone does have any blobs, plug it in and run TinyUmbrella then click on the desired device on the left hand menu. From there select save shh, and you will see on the menu at the bottom of the screen any blobs you have. If you have 5.1.1 blobs all you need to do is run the TSS server, pwned DFU mode as stated above and the Shift restore on itunes. Should be all okay!
Per saperne di piùMost probably connector 3 isn't in correctly. This happened to me when replacing the screen. I think it happens because the phone cannot boot without the proximity sensor. To fix it just remove the front panel (digitizer+frame+lcd) and make sure connector 3 is correctly inserted! You should only see the darker copper, not the shinny bit!! In addition, you made need a new screen as it may be the screen that is making the right hand side not work. Not the connection Hope this helps.
Per saperne di piùI would check the Battery/ battery connector. Also Check the Dock as it may be that the connection may be lose and will not charge, therefore your iPhone won't turn on Hope this Helps
Per saperne di piùGood luck with the water damage inspection! Before buying a new one if you fine any corrosion on the board then just a little scrub with a tooth brush once fixed that problem for me! And change the Charger port! Hope you sort out your problem
Per saperne di piùYou need to restore it in DFU mode. (Hold down power and home button until screen goes black, then let go of power button and keep holding home button until iTunes recognises ipod in restore mode) Press restore, when restored don't use a back up just set up as a new ipod Hope this helps
Per saperne di piùIf you have checked all your connections and it still doesn't work then you may have trapped the LCD flex cable and bent it whilst installing the front panel, this would result in a black screen. You would need to buy a new one.
