This article was great! However, there are a few notes I’d like to leave for people also changing their charging port.
1. The two silver screws on step 6 were really stubborn for me and hard to get out, it may require some force.
2. Some third-party charging ports do not come with a microphone (a little black square) you may need to transfer it from your old one to the new one.
3. Also for the vibrator on step 5, you may need to place it on the new board (there should be a connector that you can remove)
