Just managed to do this in about 2 minutes. Here are my tips. First, lay the top half on a flat surface with the flat side facing down. Ensure that the bends are 90 degrees on each side of the bracket and that the middle part of the bracket is actually flat. I noticed that even with careful removal it’s very easy to bend this bracket a little. Just make sure it’s straight. Now, the technique of actually sliding it into place. Slide in the left side (without the tab) first. This should be done horizontally. Now for the harder part. First, ignore the tab itself, what you care about are the two clips that the tab separates. These two clips will snap on to the outside of the lower half. I took a few moments to make sure everything was properly aligned and then squeezed it together with a pair of tweezers. Best of luck!
When sliding in the plastic cover during reassembly be sure it lines up with the battery compartment contacts. It can be really easy to not see it and bend the contacts. If you still encounter force during this step, depressing the triggers out of the way worked for me.
If your unlucky like me and your battery has exploded corrosion all over your logic board, a little bit of 70% to 90% rubbing alchohol on a que tip cleans it right off!
You can gently use the tip of a screwdriver to align the antenna plate screw holes as long as your hard drive pegs are aligned. *DO NOT FORCE* as your hard drive may just not be in the right place.
Even better, you can just use one of your screwdrivers if you do it carefully, just push out each side a little bit and rock out the logic board. No special tool needed. Just be careful not to damage your logic board and/or apply too much force.
On reassembly, if you're having trouble lining up the cowling with the screw holes, you can try pulling the logic board out a tad and set the cowling in place. Just try not to damage the cowling or the inside of the outer case when sliding it back in!
