Try getting an Xbox instead.

If the fan is spinning when you switch on the laptop and no display this could be a problem with the memory. Try taking it out and putting it back and also if you have 2 memory cards try with one. Try connecting to a monitor. If it works on a monitor the problem is with the inverter or LCD cable.

Try cleaning your vents with a cotton bud or something like that. I had the same problem and this worked for me.

Try holding down your power button for 15 seconds. If it doesn't work try plugging the charger in and hold it down for 20 seconds. I had the exact same problem.
