Sure does look like it. I checked under mid 2014 section and it shows the same logic board as the mid 2014 MacBook Pro. 2.3 GHz —> MacBook Pro 15" Retina (Late 2013, Dual Graphics) 2.3 GHz Logic Board 2.6 GHz —> MacBook Pro 15" Retina (Late 2013, Dual Graphics) 2.6 GHz Logic Board
It sounds (pun intended) like the operating system continues to think that there’s something plugged into the 3.5mm jack, so it turns off the speakers of your MacBook Pro. The cheap solution is to try to get the plug out of the port. If you do this, definitely deplete the battery/unplug it. Also, don’t keep it charger plugged in. I’d also leave the laptop sitting there for some time to make sure that all power is depleted from the system. The expensive/safe solution, unfortunately, is to buy a new logic board, depending on your model. 2.5 GHz —> MacBook Pro 13" Unibody (Mid 2012) 2.5 GHz Logic Board 2.9 GHz —> MacBook Pro 13" Unibody (Mid 2012) 2.9 GHz Logic Board
Yep, there is a part to replace. Although, I’m not 100% sure if this will fix your issue or not… Part —> MacBook Pro 15" Retina (Mid 2012-Early 2013) Right I/O Board Guide —> MacBook Pro 15" Retina Display Early 2013 I/O Board Replacement
