As the title says, the screen was cracked and I choose to replace the front panel instead of the whole unit

The repair was fairly straightforward and easy given the instruction on the site. The only issue I had was trying to remove the broken pieces as most of them were located on the bezel.
Il Mio Consiglio
AS you mentioned in teh repair guide. USE the iOpener liberally! Let it sit for a while to loosen/heat the adhesive especially if the broken pieces are located on the bezel
