Il Mio Problema

In original replace battery fix glue strip broke then damaged upper component cable getting battery out due to my impatience and not watching ahead to see what was under battery. Ordered and replaced upper component cable without any issue. When I put new battery back in I cut glue strips so I had only 1/2 inch at top and bottom of battery so tabs would be easier to pull next time and release 3/4 of battery making it easier to remove. I think the full length of two glue strips is probably overkill.

La Mia Riparazione

The upper component repair went well. The tools I got worked well. Didn't have SIM card tool in phone box so I just used a paper clip. Might want to include with tool kit. Non of my families five iPhones seemed to come with SIM card removal tool.

Il Mio Consiglio

I'm sure I'm not the only one to suggest this, but there was mention of reassemble video, but I couldn't find it through a search. I found a a YouTube video that walked through the entire process including reassemble. Between the two video sources all angles were covered.

My fix went well after rough patch, my fault, you need patience and well light area and magnifying glass and time. These will make it easier.
