i had lost my home button the phone worked but I was afraid I would damage it if I kept pushing on the gold inner tab under where ur home button sits.. So I googled and it lead me to ifixit..

I got the package and I opened it up there it was but around the circle was extra plastic..dang I wouldn't be able to use it I am not taking the phone apart what to do then I I had a MacGyver moment.. I took some cutters lightly cut the excess off and placed it till it fit snug but not jam it in and it works perfect and won't fall out..stop shaking ur head lol it was 11$ with shipping vs taking it to have it fixed..
