Easy repair, tiny screws but I just needed to switch out the speaker module. Unlike certain white devices *cough*
Torx Security screws are stupid, Sony's usual proprietary crap and lock down... but managed to switch the drive out a few days later when the part came in.

The guides here are great! But for going more in-depth and more specific, its best to look for multiple sources and trial and error doesn't hurt once in awhile.
