The front panel screen was shattered and needed to be replaced

Overall the repair went well.
Problem Found - The front panel is held in place by a thin coating of some type of adhesive (which the heat gun loosens up). In my case, since the screen was shattered and splintered. There were small shards of glass stuck in this adhesive. As a result, I had to remove all this adhesive and the repair kit did not include any type of replacement for this adhesive. This adhesive is required to keep the new screen in place once the repair is complete. I ended up using a small amount of glue to keep the panel in place. Not perfect but it appears to have worked. Only time will tell.
