Upgrade mid 2010 iMac 21.5 to SSD

I have successfully upgraded my iMac mid 2010 21.5 inch to Samsung Pro 256G SSD using the SATA optical bay hard drive enclosure. Initially, I ordered the wrong part and iFixit switched it for me prior to shipping. Second, the product arrived couple days late (most likely from UPS fault) but they refunded my shipping (to my surprise) fee. Appreciate that.

I have to admit taking the iMac apart is much tougher than upgrading PC. Give yourself couple of hours for the project and be patient. Having an extra hand is definitely helpful. In addition, if you can get access to a surgical glove, it worked well since no risk for static electricity and no finger print on your LCD screen.
