Overall well. I have changed batteries on several prior iPhones, including the 3Gs and 4, and the 5s is by far the most complex. Have plenty of light and take your time-even with my past experience, this was a challenge.

#1-The metal cover over the home button connector latches on in three places, and you must orient it correctly when replacing it. Two latches on the top side, one on the bottom (the side closest to the Lightning connector). #2-The glue strips can be tricky-place them in the phone FIRST, then install the battery. Make sure they are completely flat, as they tend to stretch during installation and can bunch up and prevent the battery from laying flat and adhering to the glue strips.
