Apple released the iPad 4th Gen Wi-Fi on November 2, 2012. With this generation a Lightning port replaces the Dock Connector port of earlier iPads. Internally, the improvements to the 4th Gen iPad include a 1.2 megapixel FaceTime HD front-mounted camera, a faster processor, and support for dual band/dual stream Wi-Fi. This iPad model was offered in 16, 32, or 64 GB capacities with color options of white or black.
