How do I install a new Airport card?

Hi all,

I have a Macbook Pro A1286 and I can't seem to find any directions on where to replace the module. A picture is all I would need to see where I need to replace it.

Start by choosing your machine the guide will give you plenty of pictures as well as list of tools - the job is always easier when you use the proper tools.

I followed the guide choosing MacBook pro mid 2009 and did not see a guide for replacing airport card

Opps! The team forgot to make a guide for this exact model. Not to fear! The older model is the same.

Here's the guide you need to follow: MacBook Pro 15" Unibody Late 2008 and Early 2009 Airport Card Replacement. I'll warn you this is a big job! You may want to find a good used display assembly and just swap out the whole assembly.
