By any setting does this mean that you've tried also different signal input types to check if it is an input problem and not an audio output problem i.e. digital inputs don't work but analogue inputs do or vise versa?
If both signal input types don't work here's the service manual for the receiver.
Go to p.148 of 199 and follow the Operation Checks 1 thru- 4 procedures and see if anything shows up.
