How to remove the steel front camera retainer?

I'm doing the replacement of the power and lock button. I'm stuck at step 20, the front camera retainer won't move, it seems glued. Anyone who knows this problem?

Does anyone have some trouble shooting advice or help for me?

That retainer is held in by tabs on its sides. What tool are you using to remove it? It's not too stiff of a piece, so some decent prying should be able to slightly deform the clips and lift it off.
