I need to know what U12 is on the main circuit board. Midland support is absolutely useless.

U12 is a LDO 5 volt dc voltage regulator. I replaced mine on the board with part number TLV7605ODBRZ. IC reg linear 5v 100ma SOT23-3. Got it from DigiKey.

With this component bad, no battery power.
