4 White stripes on the lower LCD and an error code at starting.
Hello,
I bought a Nintendo DSi via Ebay. Too bad it seems not to be working at all. It's got two problems. First, the lower screen is half white when I power the sytem on.
Second, it gives an error message. Because of the white stripes it's not possible to read the whole message, but I think it should be this (regarding errors that other people get):
"An error has occurred. Press and hold the power button to turn the system off. Please see the Nintendo DSI operations manual for help troubleshooting."
The error code appears after powering on, before there even show up a menu screen.

I've looked around on the internet past few days. I think it has to do with some kind of firmware update.
Does anyone have an idea how I can remove the error code? I read something about updating, but I shouldn't know how to do that if I can't get in the menu.
