Oh no! I have used my pick and gone in to the wrong slot of the beze

Help please. I have used a pick and went into the wrong slit on the screen of my 6a. I was replacing a battery. All bought from ifixit this week, including the ifixit tool kit. Yes I now have replaced the battery but the screen needs fixing to the bezel. Can any one help please. All working apart from screen being loose. I have the template with glue strip on it, can I use that to repair. Thank you.

The screen adhesive that comes with the Fix Kit is meant to secure the screen frame to the phone and won't work for gluing the screen frame to the screen. I don't think it holds as securely as the glue used on the frame either.

Your best bet is to buy some glue like B7000 to reglue the frame back onto the screen. Be very careful with the application of the glue; getting it in the wrong place can easily get into the display and damage it.

That being said, I've been in the same situation and unfortunately it didn't work out for me; I'm not sure if it was my prying the frame off accidentally or getting glue in the wrong place, but the screen ended up with damage and I had to replace the screen.
