Hello everyone,

LG OLED 55CS motherboard

The IR sensor isn't working with this motherboard.

No response.

The sensor works perfectly fine with other CS motherboards.

The problem lies with the OLED 55CS motherboard.

I examined the motherboard under a microscope.

I didn't see any damage.

Furthermore, I checked the SMD capacitors around the power/IR/Wi-Fi connectors for short circuits.

No short circuits were found.

Has anyone else experienced similar problems with the IR function on LG TVs and can offer some advice?

Here's an image for an LG OLED 55C7 model service manual, that may help at least to narrow down possibly where the problem on the mainboard might be.

Worth checking perhaps.
