2 times short start with shutdown! Now nothing.
Hallo everyone,
my mac book pro (mid 2010/ I5 2,3Gh) gets some Sprite to drink. Touchpad and keyboard starts sticking.
I want to fixit. So I start to teardown. i abrupted the cable between subwoofer and left spreaker. very stupid, i know but i braze it.
It was not much sprite inside the keyboard and i'm nearly sure that no liquid has find a way to the mainboard.
I floated the keyboard and touchpad in glasscleaner and let it dry. After that i assambled all again.
By the first start the mac book just starts for 2-3 seconds than the automatic shutdown.
By the second start the mac book just starts for 1-2 seconds than the automatic shutdown.
Now it does nothing anymore!
Thanks for all help!

so for you it sounds like a short circuit?
i think thats impossible cause of liquids. i let it dry about 1 houre, but in parts... i've seen everything an checked it and also there is this black foil between keyboard and logicboard. it covers the hole keyboard from the back and protekt it form liquids. also, before teardowning, there was no problem with the system.
Thank you very much for answering, may you have some more information for me.
I hope that someone knows that specific order of heppenings.

sounds like some sprite or glass cleaner got their way to the logicboard :/ how long have you let it dry?
