My disc drive doesn't read discs

My disc drive accepts the disc and i opened it up and the disc does spin but for some reason the game doesn't pop up to download or too play. what can i do? preferably not replacing the disc drive.

I would replace the laser and see how that works out!

It's possible that the laser is broken and need to be replaced.
