Battery problom after I change it

I just changed the battery and fan is running load and battery icon show no charge. And without plugged in the macbook does not turn on, how to fix.

Hi Dan,

Thank you so much, I have M1 2020 two thudervolt 13". It turns with plugged in only but after turn on I can pull plug but it won't turn off even without cable.
