Nintendo Wii U does not recognize the usb port

Hi, when i connect one control or pendrive to the wii u usb port it doesnt acknowledge it, please i dont know how to fix this issue

Hi!

Is the Wii U up to date? Does anything else work fine?

It could be the USB controller which failed.

Did you tried other USB ports? Front and back?
