My PSX 834 will not turn on at all It's brand new never turned on at a

My Pioneer VSX-834 just took it out of the box and it won't turn on at all what could it be And what could I do to remedy that

Have you checked if the power outlet that the receiver is connect to is working OK?

Does the receiver give any indication of power being there e.g. lights etc when the power button on the receiver is pressed?

If there's nothing showing, then as it is brand new take it back and ask for a warranty refund or replacement. Remember to take the proof of purchase receipt with you.
