I have down loaded many short duration exercise demonstration from you tube,i would like to burn it in cd and relieve my hard disc which is the best option?kindly guide me please

It depends on your DVD player compatibility that it will play mp4 formats or not and also depends whether your DVD player plays DVD & Cd both or only DVD. If it plays both, then you can burn it a CD also.
But I recommend you that you burn wmv format on CD, as most of the DVD or CD players play wmv formats.

Will DVD Players play MP4 files?
As we know, most old DVD players only support DVD video on DVD disc, they cannot play any video file not to mention MP4 file. Later, some DVD players can play video files on DVD disc. Even later, many DVD players come with USB ports, users can attach USB drive to it, and it can search and play video files on it. However, the video formats they support are very limited. Because DVD video is some kind of MPEG-2 video, this format is supported by nearly all DVD players. MP4 is newer than AVI format, some players doesn't support MP4 but support AVI. Hence, to play MP4 on DVD Players, we suggest you convert MP4 file to DVD-Players-sensible formats like the MPEG or AVI format.

Most DVDs have to use MPEG-2, VOB or DivX, if you try to directly burn MP4 to DVD or your DVD burner app has no function of converting MP4 to MPEG-2, DivX, you will fail to burn MP4 to DVD disc.
I usually use iDealshare VideoGo to convert MP4 to DVD player more supporte mpeg-2, vob, divx, xvid, h.264 etc

It depends on whether your DVD player supports MP4 format. Most DVD player formats including MPEG1, DivX, DVD+R/-R, and possibly VOB, AVI, MKV via USB.

If you just want to store the videos for playback on your computer, you can leave them in the native format that works for your OS. I think you are using a Mac OS so I can not help you to much on that ;-) If you want to play those videos on a separate DVD player, you will have to convert them to a format that can be read by the player.

My hard disc has a capacity of 160gb,right now i have used 95gb,i need your advice to remove 40gb which is stored as movies. pressure on the hard disc will be reduced

If you just want to store the mp4's on a CD, than all you have to to is copy them to a CD. You can leave them in their native file format. Burn them to CD like you would any other file.
