It won’t power on, so I replaced the battery, and still nothing

I know this is an old post, but I am having the same issue with my MacBook Air 13” early 2015 A1466, model. It won’t power on, so I replaced the battery, and still nothing. I have unplugged the I/o cable to see if it would power up, and no luck. I have a new I/O board being delivered soon. Do you think that can fix the issue? Also, the light is not on the MagSafe charger, when it’s connected. The charger is ok, because it works on other devices. Any help is greatly appreciated!

@iphonefantik - I’ve spun your question out as the question you posted in is too confusing to use as a reference point as this person issues where all over the place What’s my issue: I/O Board, I/O Board Flex Cable or Logic Board? and besides the 2014 is a bit different from 2015 model.
