well, i bought a ps2 that didnt had a logo. a friend of mine gave me his logo he had in a old ps2 that doesnt work anymore, but when i try to put it in the hole it doesnt fit, and falls if you do light movements, anyone knows why? i think his ps2 was the 9000 version, i think thats why it doesnt fit maybe? idk, someone help me please :(

It's a metal plate in the top cover where it rest on.
Do you have any pictures about how you've installed it?

Ofcourse it's easier to replace the whole top cover with already the logo in, but this is also more expensive. Note that the 9000 version top cover won't fit on the 7000 version. The logo should work.

i didnt installed it because when i try to put it in the metal plate it falls off, i opened the ps2 to see if the metal plate was broken or something, but all i could see is that it was far from the hole, like kinda bended, also my logo doesnt look like the one from the link, it doesnt has the little thing at the tip, idk how to call it :(
Hmm, maybe easier to buy the one from Ebay? So you are sure it will probably fit and work. Otherwise you can glue it and see if that works! Can you share some pictures with us? Thanks!
