@erick38713 hearing static does not necessarily mean that "everything seems to work". You need to let us know what you have checked. The static could be coming from a bad potentiometer, an AC hum or it could be coming from a bad ground. The very first thing you want to check are the circuit boards. Disassemble your receiver and clean the boards. Then inspect the boards for any missing or damaged looking component etc. Take some really well-focused pictures of your boards etc. and post those with your question. That way we can see what you see and hopefully help you look for component issues.
