spilled water, gpu & some keyboard keys inoperative
spilled water on display side of msi gs60 above keyboard. shut down for 24 hours to dry. blew out some water with canned air on shut down. now windows doesn't find nvidia gpu. fan farthest from power plug runs full time at 100%. at least a dozen keyboard keys don't work. can these things be fixed without replacing gpu, motherboard, keyboard? (e g., reseating, spraying contact cleaner, selective resoldering?). laptop is useable with intel graphics & external keyboard but gpu fan is annoying. if gpu can't be fixed, how do I disable the fan? or does intel graphics need the gpu fan as well? also, can the 2 cooling fans be swapped? nvidia gpu has had little use & that fan opposite power plug is quieter than the other. also, laptop stopped charging about the time I replaced the original several years ago. can that be fixed? resource-wise this laptop still works fine in today's computing environment but getting old & is unsuitable for windows 11. it's probably time to replace it but I'd fix it if possible without spending a bundle on parts.
