I connect power and I get a solid red light. Then I press power and it turns green for like a second or 2 then it starts blinking red. Anyone know why?

Alright regarding the photo’s and comments, this is most likely caused by a faulty power supply.
It’s an external power supply and replacing this is very easy (as the PS2 Slim does not need to be disassembled).
The power block you have there is not the original one. I recommend to replace it!

Just swap the power block and you should be all good again!

Hi Francisco!
Do you have the PS2 Slim with the internal power supply or the one with the external power supply?
If you are not sure, could you share a photo with us (back side where the connectors are).
