screen broke into two pieces

Hello,

I wanted to repair my screen but i encountered with a serious problem. My screen broke into two pieces therefor i can't remove it with the suction cup i guess, what should i do? I think i can remove it with my hands actually, will it have the same affect? (the LCD is also broken.

Can I remove the screen simply with my hands and than remove the LCD with the suction cut?

what i did is i pushed the screen upwards to make a small gap at the bottom and slide a one-side razor then pry it open, just try to avoid damage to the screen gasket.
