camera wont stay on after power button is press, screen lights up for 3 seconds then camera beeps 3 times then shut down. the lens does not comes out and the battery indicator does not appear on the screen, this is not a battery problem as this problem keep reoccurring after returning from the technician. 3 times the technician looks on it each after a few picture problem reappear. thanks for your help

flakes36, I believe that this one of those generic error beeps:) Give this a try. Number one thing to do is to have brand new name brand batteries. This is very important, since bad batteries will also give you that type of error. Number two is the best bet. What might have happened is that your battery was almost dead when the camera lens was retracted and now it is either bent or off it's track. This would definitely be causing your symptoms.
