My iPhone Doesn't charge

I Plugged my iphone with a wall charger, but it seams like the plug on wall had something wrong and it damage something in my logic board, and i don't know what to do. i took it to apple store and they told me to go someplace where they can fix it, and well, i discovered that it's not the (port-microphone-speaker) and it's not the battery and i belive is the port in the logic board where you connect the port-speaker to the logic board.

What has led you to believe that its the logic board and not other parts? Does the phone still act normally except for charging? Did you find burnt spots on the logic board? Tell us more so we can help you.

I belive it was the logic board becuase i did a test with another iphone 3G and my logic board was working fine, except for charging ( not even conected to wall plug or the computer) and i did test my battery too and it was charging on the other iphone.

It's not the dock connector becuase i forgot to mention that i bought a new one and it was working fine in the other iphone that i used to make the tests

And what if the problem was the fuses, then what should i do ?

da

You can try and replace those, or bridge them from one point to the next to see if that if that is what causes your problem.

Josh Rose, if you are sure that your board is okay, with the exception of not charging, check your dock connector and make sure that it is okay. No broken, bend or corroded pins. Use a multimeter on your battery contacts with the cable connected. See if you get proper voltage to the connectors. If not, I know of a few fuses on the logic board that you might want to check on. The attached image is from a 3GS but I checked the same location on a 3G. Hope this helps.

UPDATE

The replacement fuse seems to be the same as part number 0435002 from Littelfuse Inc. You can get the data sheet here
