1 My New Nintendo 2DS XL bottom LCD Screen wont Turning On when boot up.
So My friend gave me this New Nintendo 2DS XL, saying she was giving me a challenge because I was fixing all my friends electronic problems. I turn the 2DS on and see the problem. The bottom screen wasn't turning on. MarioKart 7 was on there so I played some to see if it still worked and nope. So i pulled up ifixit to see if therews someone else who had a problem on the New Nintendo 2DS XL, and all i found was a problem for the Nintendo 3DS XL. So I tried what they said but nothing, but they all said to see if the LCD Touch screen is responsive, I tried that and it is. What do i need to do. Should i try and send it to Nintendo or buy a replacement screen from ifixit or amazon. or is there a way to do it without spending 100 dollars on a new screen?

The bottom screen does not work, but the touchscreen is responsive on that particular screen. Do I understand that correctly?

I think what's being said is that the LCD touchscreen on the top is responding to touch, but the bottom screen isn't working at all. In addition to the options mentioned, I'd take it to a pop-up booth in bigger shopping centres who repair mobile phones to get a quote, but it sounds like a PSU issue or the back-lighting broken. If held up to a good light source at a certain angle, can you see it playing in a dark room?
