LG 34UM69G Backlight On, no On-Screen Display Menu

I own an LG 34UM69G monitor. I’ve had it for about 5-6 years and has worked fine until last night. I let my computer and monitor go to sleep for about 30 minutes and came back to the monitor no longer displaying a picture. I’ve done all troubleshooting I can think of and have found online (other display cables, other monitors, other computers, etc. I should not that the monitor does display as “Generic PnP Monitor on my PC when I plug it in and also dual output to a secondary monitor… not sure if it always displayed that way). My thought is that the issue is with the monitor itself. When I turn the monitor on, the backlight lights up, but I cannot get the on-screen display menu to appear. I can press the power button and turn it off, and turn it back on, but no combination of button presses (along the direction axes for which the power button joystick can move) will result in anything on screen.

The monitor does detect when it there is an input; it will auto-sleep and when I plug my DP from my PC in, the backlight lights up. Nothing on screen and no monitor on-screen display menu.

I’ve removed the back panel and have inspected the main board, it’s components, chips, connectors, traces, etc. and don’t see anything out of the ordinary. My next course of action is to just start probing around with a DMM, but I’m not familiar at all with the components here. I have very little electronics experience; just college circuit theory.

Thoughts? Suggestions? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Update (01/06/2023)

Following up on this issue... couldn't find the faulty component(s), but I did find a new main board. Bought it and installed. Monitor is now working again. Sorry I can't provide details regarding the specific fix.
