I replaced my dead USB charging port but it still doesn't work.

Hi, i just recently replaced my broken USB port for my 6-year-old DS4 controller, I requested a JSD-30 to replace the current one which as another JSD-30. Everything went smoothly until I tried to plug my controller directly to my PC, it doesn't recognize it, and it doesn't connect to the DS4 through the USB cable (to clarify, I don't use it on the PS4 anymore since I gave my PS4 to my mum to watch Netflix on her spare time). I took the DS4 apart again, and it shows a very dim blue light, it can only be seen when I take the controller apart or a very low light environment.
