Why is my tablets screen dark gray and won't let me do anything?

Ok so I tossed by tablet on to my bed and it bounced, not off the bed it just bounced, anyway I went to go play on it and when I turn it on the screen is dark gray and won't let me do anything. I tried holding down the power button and it Let's me choose either power off or restart but when I choose either of those nothing happens.

Also btw I'm not completely sure if I have the right tablet

You can check the exact model by checking on the back of the tablet. There will be a label there, and the first part of it will be the model number.
