Samsung HW-A650 soundbar automatically adjusts volume to 19.
No matter what volume I put my soundbar on, even mute, it auto adjusts after two minutes to 19. I have tried everything. In settings it is on adaptive sound, and when I change it to standard it changes back to adaptive sound when it changes volume back to 19. Don’t have a remote for it as I bought the floor model. Tried buying a generic remote from Amazon one that said it was compatible. My Samsung tv remote works to change the volume up and down but again, it auto adjusts back to 19 after two minutes. Any help before I eat the money I spent on it would be appreciated.

I don’t usually work on Samsung soundbars but is there a app you can get for it as you might be able to remove a setting that changes the volume or it may just need a update:-)

I’m not sure how I would connect it to an app or update it— There was no installation process, I simply plugged it in and it automatically took over the sound on my Samsung tv. I would look for an update on it if I knew how to do that though!

From what I know most moder speaker have a app
If it supports Bluetooth it will most likely have one
If it does try going onto the App Store and typing in something along the lines of Samsung sound at app and download the closest thing from the manufacture:-)

I tried to find an app but could not find a Samsung specific one. I did download a universal remote, but could not find the soundbar on Bluetooth, just the tv. The sound bar is on— I’m using it right now- so I’m not sure why it doesn’t come up on Bluetooth.

What is the model number of the TV?
Is the soundbar connected to the TV's HDMI (ARC) port or to the optical audio port?
Has the TV got BT capability? Try turning on BT in a mobile phone and check if it shows "Samsung Soundbar A6-Series" when BT is enabled in the soundbar.
