Hello! I have a problem with a newly purchased set of joycons. They’re syncing in “handheld” mode and can be used but the switch body/system doesn’t recognize them when I attach them to the switch itself. How can this be fixed?

Have you checked your connections within the device?
Have you taken this device apart and reconnected the cable>
Is it one side or is it both?
Have you tried disassembling the joy con and checked there?
Hopefully these give you some ideas
