How to repair logic board

I work with electronics at work. Do a lot of soldering. I figured it might be worth buying some non working logic boards and attempt to sell them. Maybe even repair them for people.

Curious if anyone can help me out. Do I just get a schematic? Where is a good place to buy parts for it? What to look for on the logic boards to know if it's repairable(volt meter)?
