I turn on my ps4 and its says “checking for storage” or something like that but loads up to about 26% and after that it goes to different page and says “safe mode” at the top and I can’t click anything besides cancel which turns off the ps4 what do I do to fix that problem ??? help !!

It is likely you’re going to need a do a USB software update or software restore. Head to playstation’s website and try both with an external usb. They will have instructions from there.

If neither of them work, it’s likely that your hard drive has failed, and will need to get it replaced.
