Can display glass be replaced or wholle display must be replaced
On my I mac 27” 2013 display glass is cracked.
Can I replace the glass only, or I have to replace the whole display unit.

Sorry for the loss. Sadly the display and the cover glass are a sealed unit. While someone could carefully peel the two apart it is not something I recommend. Even if you achieve that what will you use to replace the broken cover glass? You would need to find a dead display which to also carefully peel the cover glass off and then re-sandwich the two good parts together if you don’t damage things in the process.
To big a gamble in my mind, besides the time needed would be many more hours than just replacing the display assembly.
