What is the purpose of the 4 little black sticker on the spring plate?
Do I need to put it back when I finish the CPU upgrade though it’s not sticky anymore.

If you take them off you’ll see they leave the word VOID! Zoom up on this image to checkout the screws.
They have no importance other than to prove to Apple if the CPU was altered if you brought your system into Apple for a logic board issue.
Legally Apple can’t use the security stickers to deny you of service. But they could argue the socket is damaged forcing you to buy a replacement logic board.
