Try updating the audio drivers first but if it sounds like a busted or blown out speaker then it's likely going to need the speakers replaced.

To download the driver go to www.hp.com/support and then search with your model number or serial number.

To replace the speakers most HP laptop parts have a sticker on them with a HP Part Number, just search that on amazon/eBay.
