Trick to unlock Forget Password for iPhone 4 on iOS 6.1.6

To avoid being a lock for many years or hours, what is the trick to unlock my old iPhone 4. I did remember my Apple ID and username and password.

However, I forget my iPhone password.

Is it better to try 4 times each day to avoid being lockout for a longer time?

Or range for week or month, does anyone have to try this trick?

Now the iPhone is disabled

are you trying to get into the phone for info that you need off of it or is it just to use it and you dont care about the data?

if youve forgotten the passcode then it looks like youre kind of out of luck. i would recommend taking it slow like you were doing and attempting to unlock a couple times a day for it to reset.

hopefully you have this phone backed up some where, if not then youre kinda SOL if it gets locked out completely.
